Veg Out is run by a friendly bunch of high quality cooks, providing excellent dishes for functions and events. We discovered them at a friends' wedding and the two vegan buffets delighted all the guests.

Based in Sussex, they do venture further afield in the South of the UK if you encourage them!

They don’t have set menus, but discuss what you would like on an individual basis, including any special favourite dishes you may like. Their aim is to provide a wide range of interesting food, so that the non-veggies don’t even think about “Where was the meat?”

Veg Out don’t charge extra for use of their crockery, cutlery, table linen etc. – when they have agreed a menu with you, they will quote you a total price, including the services of our friendly and experienced staff, if required.

We seriously recommend their tofu cheesecake!

We hired VegOut to do our vegan wedding catering in September 2007. We had our reception in a barn, with just a generator room for a kitchen area! Despite the slightly awkward setup VegOut did an amazing job of our wedding food. It was presented really well, with a clear menu on the wall so guests knew what was there. There were lots of staff provided to serve the food and answer questions, and everything was done smoothly and quickly. They even rearranged the tables after the meal to create a dance floor area.

As for the food… well, as a nervous bride in a tightly laced dress I didn't eat much! However, all the positive reviews from our (mostly meat eating) friends and family made it clear that the food went down a treat! Many people went up for seconds. I had a piece of the chocolate cheesecake, which was lovely and smooth. We had a colourful and varied fork buffet, followed by a finger buffet in the evening.

We also got our wedding cake from VegOut – we had three different flavoured tiers which were all yummy!

VegOut have so many options and styles of food, and will spend the time with you to create your ideal menu. They are the type of people that you can have complete confidence in to do a professional job. I was particularly impressed with the fact that they independently got in touch with my venue to arrange a visit – I could just let them get on with organising things.

I would recommend VegOut to anyone needing a top-quality veggie caterer.
