Quinoa Instant Porridge
This is excellent for camping trips as you mix it all up and carry it in a little sealed bag and then when you need it simply put in bowl and add boiling water! The proportions aren’t important as long as there is enough to meet your appetite's demands. Great for diabetics and gluten-free diets.

Ingredients
- Quinoa flakes
- Soy milk powder (available from VeganStore.co.uk) - miss out if not available
- Dried fruit of choice (I recommend date pieces)
- Nuts and/or seeds of choice (cashews, almonds and pumpkin seeds are great)
- Optional additional dried dessicated coconut, sugar, and spices such as ground ginger or cinnamon, nutmeg or mixed spice.
Method
- Simply add boiling water, stir in thoroughly,
- let sit about 60seconds and you should have instant porridge.
Notes
If available add sliced or mashed banana, syrup or molasses if desired, any fresh berries or other fruits, jam, soy yoghurt or soy cream for extra luxuriousness!
